In 2025, OAD organized the first nationwide OSINT CTF competition – the first event of this kind organized by public administration. The goal of the competition was to promote the profession of OSINT analyst and raise awareness of media literacy.
The two-day event attracted attention of 30 teams. Young OSINT specialists (18–26 years old) tackled a series of online investigations inspired by real-world challenges faced by analysts, including information verification, work with visual data, and tracking disinformation campaigns. Inspired by the success of the first edition, OAD is currently preparing the second OSINT CTF competition scheduled for October 2026 with the estimated number of 1000 participants (without age restrictions).
