Information security, with particular emphasis on the protection of personal data and respect for the right to privacy, is of paramount importance to NASK-PIB and constitutes a fundamental attribute of its operations, enabling it to gain and maintain trust in the services it provides. To achieve this objective, NASK-PIB has implemented and applies an information security policy throughout the entire organization. Moreover, in key areas of its activities, NASK-PIB has introduced an information security management system based on the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 standard and has obtained the relevant certification.
NASK-PIB applies transparent principles regarding its privacy policies, including informing you why and how your personal data is processed, how long it is stored, and with whom it is shared.
To ensure the best possible protection of your personal data, NASK-PIB follows these principles:
- NASK-PIB processes personal data exclusively for legitimate purposes for which it was collected or as required by applicable law.
- NASK-PIB processes only those categories of personal data that are necessary for achieving the purposes of processing.
- NASK-PIB does not process personal data in a manner inconsistent with the purpose of its processing.
- NASK-PIB processes personal data in accordance with the highest security standards to protect it against loss or misuse.
- NASK-PIB does not process personal data for longer than necessary for the purposes for which the data is processed.
- NASK-PIB provides ongoing contact with the Data Protection Officer at iod@nask.pl.
- NASK-PIB fulfills its information obligations under personal data protection regulations, in particular those arising from the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), towards data subjects.
