As part of its efforts to combat medical disinformation, OAD established partnerships with institutions active in the field of public health, including the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate (GIS), the Medical University of Warsaw, the Medical University of Gdańsk, and the Medical University of Białystok. The agreements were signed between 2025 and 2026 and cover activities in the field of:
- knowledge exchange between experts;
- conducting educational activities to raise awareness about health disinformation;
- providing recommendations for public institutions;
- implementing joint public awareness campaigns aimed at increasing public knowledge and awareness regarding health disinformation;
- analyzing other countries’ best practices to effectively adapt proven models to the Polish context.
As part of this collaboration, NASK experts conduct training sessions for medical students, review false health-related content, and participate in joint initiatives. NASK is also involved in public awareness campaigns led by GIS, including the European Immunization Week and the ‘Seniors in the Lead’ program (‘Senior w roli głównej’).
